Man Utd legend Bryan Robson refuses to rule out Chelsea in title race

MANCHESTER UNITED are definitely going to be challenging for the Premier League this season but Chelsea should not be ruled out of winning back-to-back titles.
That is the view of legendary Manchester United midfielder Bryan Robson.

Jose Mourinho’s side have already seen a significant improvement to their league from from last season.

After finishing the 2016/17 campaign in a disappointing sixth, Manchester United are level on points with Manchester City at the top after seven games.

They are still unbeaten, with their only blemish coming in the 2-2 draw with Stoke.
Robson fully expects them and City to be competing for title for the remainder of the season.




However, despite losing last time out to City, he says Chelsea are still contenders.

“I think we will definitely be there challenging,” Robson told Sky Sports.
“I think Manchester City are looking really exciting and powerful at the start of the season.

“Even though Chelsea have had a couple of defeats so far, you can’t rule them out because it’s a long hard season.

“I think United right from the start of the season have put themselves in a position where we can challenge whoever is going to win the title or whether we win it ourselves.”

United face Liverpool next in the opening game of the Premier League weekend tomorrow (12.30pm).
