Neymar: Real Madrid ready to include Marco Asensio in transfer bid for PSG star

REAL MADRID are reportedly prepared to let Marco Asensio join PSG if it means receiving Neymar in return.
Neymar continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid despite insisting he is happy at PSG.

The Brazil international only signed for the Ligue 1 giants in August, sealing a £200million move from Barcelona to the Parc des Princes.

However, talk has been rife that he has failed to settle in France and is at odds with current manager Unai Emery.

And Spanish website Don Balon say Real Madrid are ready to cut Asensio loose if it means securing Neymar’s signature when the transfer window reopens at the end of the summer.

Asensio started the season in sensational form.
Two goals in as many games against fierce rivals Barcelona helped Los Blancos win the Spanish Super Cup back in August.

However, the 21-year-old has struggled since with manager Zinedine Zidane often leaving him on the bench.

And Don Balon say he could be used as bait in any deal for Neymar.

The Brazil international drew a blank as his country were held to a goalless draw by England last night.

But, with 11 goals from 12 games across all competitions this season, there is no denying the 25-year-old is one of the best players in world football.

Meanwhile, Real midfielder Casemiro would love to see Neymar move to the Bernabeu.
“He’s a star. He knows what he’s doing,” he said.
“He’s a great player and he’ll always be welcome at Real Madrid. I hope he comes, but he’s happy at his club.”

But comments made by Asensio in the summer suggest the youngster would not be interested in joining PSG.

“No, I would not go to PSG. I am very happy here,” the Spain international said.

“It seemed strange to us that Neymar left Barcelona. He was an important player for them and [the fact] that they could not keep him is a little strange.”
