Barcelona news: Lionel Messi and Neymar have discussed PSG troubles and possible return

BARCELONA star Lionel Messi has consoled Neymar with his PSG dream beginning to turn sour, according to reports.
Neymar made the stunning decision of leaving Barcelona in the summer, tying up a £200million move to PSG.

With 11 goals from 12 games so far, the Brazilian looks primed to fire Unai Emery’s side to the Ligue 1 title.

However, reports have recently suggested that Neymar is unhappy with life in Paris, with Emery one of the reasons why.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol say that, so bad was the 25-year-old feeling recently, Messi was forced to step in.

The two players struck up a good relationship on and off the pitch during their four years at Barcelona together.
Neymar arrived as a raw teenager from Santos in 2013 and Messi took on the role of mentor.

And it appears he has used his relationship with the player to try and lift Neymar’s increasingly doom and gloom mood.

The duo even discussed a possible return, with the PSG star expressing a desire to controversially go back to his old club.

Diario Gol add, however, that this seems unlikely.
Neymar has been told by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu that he burned his bridges the moment he decided to join PSG.

A source is also quoted saying: “He is not happy with the methods of Unai Emery, nor does he feel so comfortable in the dressing room.”

Meanwhile, speaking last week, Neymar insisted all rumours of a move away were false.

“I want to ask you to stop creating stories which are not true,” he said.

“I want to say what I think. I’m totally realistic and what I don’t like is these false stories about me, there is nothing bothering me at my club.
“I’m here because I asked to be here. It’s going really well (in Paris), I’m really happy here and motivated. I’m a player who wants to give everything on the pitch.
“What bothers me is everyone creating stories about me, with my coach and with Cavani. These things are not real, it’s not true.

“I just want to be happy, I’m not here to make or create trouble with anybody. I know my role on my pitch and I do what my coach asks me to do.

“I had a chat with (team coordinator) Edu and Tite because these things are hurting me, every day there are these stories.”
