Man Utd transfer news: Mourinho granted three Galacticos to £29m block exit

MANCHESTER UNITED will allow Jose Mourinho to sign THREE Galacticos next summer as a sweetener to him signing a new contract, with Real Madrid and Barcelona set to be impacted.

Manchester United are desperate for Mourinho to extend his stay at Old Trafford amid concerns he could quit for Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are said to be interested in appointing Mourinho at the end of the season, even if it costs them £29million.

Portuguese boss’ current contract at United expires in 2019 and he has already said he won’t finish his career in Manchester.

But reports from Spain claim United are pulling out all the stops to block Mourinho from leaving.

Newspaper Sport claim Mourinho will not only be given a lucrative new contract at United but he will also have full command of their transfer policy.

It is reported that the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager will sign a £19.5m-a-season contract at Old Trafford.

He will then be given free reign to do what he likes in the transfer window, with three Galactico signings in mind.

Sport claim top of Mourinho’s shopping list is Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann.

Bale was chased in the summer but Mourinho’s interest was ended after Real started the Wales international in the UEFA Super Cup final against the Red Devils.

However, the 28-year-old has struggled yet again with injuries this season and Real president Florentino Perez has had enough and supposedly wants to sell.

Griezmann, meanwhile, could look to leave Atletico after refusing to go in the summer.

The France international is also being chased by Barcelona, making an end-of-season transfer battle likely.

Barcelona want Griezmann as a potential replacement for the ageing Luis Suarez.

As for a third player, United were linked with Ivan Perisic over the summer, while Jose Mourinho is also interested in Tottenham duo Danny Rose and Harry Kane.

Yet a swoop for Kane has been cast into doubt after the England star hinted that he could remain his entire career at Spurs.

“My goal is to play my entire career only for Tottenham,” Kane told German newspaper Bild am Sonntag.

“We have a fantastic team, a great coach, a professional training centre and we’re getting a new stadium.

“At the moment, everything suits me here and I’m happy.”
