Man Utd news: Victor Lindelof reveals he is finally learning after horror start in England

VICTOR LINDELOF insists he’s learning despite the horror start to his Manchester United career.
Lindelof has struggled since arriving at Old Trafford from Benfica in a £30m deal.

He played in the Super Cup against Real Madrid and was given the run around.

He then had to wait over a month for his next appearances and made his Premier League debut in the middle of October as an injury time substitute against Liverpool.

Lindelof’s first Premier League start came against Newcastle last weekend and he was at fault for Dwight Gayle’s opener.

But the Sweden defender insists he is learning from the best boss in the world.
“He’s a very good coach, in my opinion the best in the world, and for me to be able to work with him is a pleasure,” he told United Review.

“All of the staff and coaches as well, they are great and I am learning a lot from them.

“I’m just trying to do my best to work hard every day and listen to them because they know a lot about football, so it’s about listening and learning.”

And Lindelof revealed what part of the game he likes the best.
“The games are the most fun part of football,” he added.

“Training is fun also, but you play football to play the games, that’s the best part of it. We have a lot of games coming up and we have to be focused on the recovery between games so that the body can be 100 per cent ready.

“We have a very good squad with a lot of depth and good players. We’ve made a good start in every competition, now we just want to keep on going and do our best.”
