Man Utd news: Marcos Rojo says Jose Mourinho interferes with Zlatan Ibrahimovic training

MANCHESTER UNITED defender Marcos Rojo has revealed Jose Mourinho always stops Zlatan Ibrahimovic kicking him all over the pitch in training.
Manchester United have received a welcome boost ahead of the busy festive period with Ibrahimovic and Rojo back in action again.

Both players sustained serious knee injuries back in April – but their relationship appears to be all the better for it.

Ibrahimovic and Rojo were snapped taking photos together during the Europa League final and the two powerhouses are now aiming to fire the Red Devils to silverware this season.

And Rojo has now revealed that Manchester United boss Mourinho is always having to stop the two players from going at each other on the training ground.

“He’s always happy, close to the players,” Rojo said about Mourinho to Clarin.
“He’s a very happy person, he helped me a lot, he got the best out of me.

“He always tells us to play quietly in practice because with Ibra we kill each other with kicks.”

Meanwhile, Rojo also gushed over Ibrahimovic.

But he stopped short of saying the 36-year-old would chance his arm by coming out of retirement for Sweden at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

“I asked Ibra that now that they are in the World Cup if he would like to go, he says no but I don’t know,” he added.
“For me he has to go.

“He’s an amazing character, but for those who don’t know him, he seems like a bighead but he’s a phenomenon, he’s a beast who goes forward and wants to win everything.”

Ibrahimovic scored 28 goals for United last season after signing from PSG on a free transfer.

The Swede is yet to get on the scoresheet from three games this term but is in line to feature against Watford tomorrow (8pm).
