Asante Kotoko confirm axing five players

Asante Kotoko have told five players they will not feature in their plans for next season.

The list includes veteran goalkeeper Isaac Amoako, Kwame Boateng-who spent the second half of last season on loan at relegated Great Olympics.

The rest are defenders Evans Quao, Atta Kusi and striker Emmanuel Osei, who was loaned out to Bechem United last term.

”Coach Pollack requested for some players to beef up the squad ahead of the season but we are yet to acquire any of them for him. We should sign new players very soon,” the club’s Communication Director Obed Acheampong said.
