NDC communicator wants Akufo-Addo quarantined

A communication team member of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Ashanti Region, Kwaku Asafo Adjei wants President Akufo-Addo to be quarantined as soon as possible after ‘’being exposed to the deadly Swine Flu virus.

According to the controversial communicator, Ashanti regional minister and Health minister Kwaku Agyemang Manu erred immensely when they allowed the first gentle of the land to visit the campus of Kumasi Academy senior High School.

He argues the President has been contracted with the lethal virus which has killed four students once he entered the school’s premises hence the need for him to be quarantined to prevent any future occurrences.

Speaking on Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkra, Asafo Adjei said ‘’Kwame President Akufo Addo must be quarantined because I feel he was exposed to the virus as we are made to believe when he visited Kumasi Academy Senior High School 60th anniversary ‘Speech and Prize-giving’ Day because if you listen to Doctor Sampane and other Doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital [KATH] the disease is highly contagious since it is easily transmitted through the air so one can likely to conclude President Akufo- Addo has been exposed to the Swine Flu virus’’.

He added ‘’As it stands now nobody can confirm or deny that the president has been affected with the virus but taking into considerations explanations by medical practitioners I think it would be prudent for him to be quarantined since exchanged pleasantries with people who were around and even breathed the same air in other no to transmit it to staffs at the Flagstaff house’’

‘’President Akufo- Addo’s health is of paramount to Ghanaians hence the need for him to be quarantined’’.
