Ronaldo: Real Madrid star blocks deals for Chelsea and Tottenham duo Hazard and Kane

CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly blocked Real Madrid signing Chelsea and Tottenham stars Eden Hazard and Harry Kane.

Real Madrid are ready to loosen the purse strings this January with their La Liga title hopes in tatters.

Last week’s embarrassing 3-0 defeat to fierce rivals Barcelona mean they currently sit 14 points behind their fierce rivals at the top of the table.

Chelsea and Tottenham stars Eden Hazard and Harry Kane are just two names being tipped to make the move to the Bernabeu.

But Spanish website Don Balon has sensationally claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo does not want either player to make the move.

It is an open secret that Ronaldo rules the roost in the Spanish capital.

The Portugal international, however, is no longer the player he used to be.

Ronaldo has managed just four La Liga goals all season and it is that worrisome form that has prompted Madrid to look to attacking signings in January.

Yet Don Balon say the chances of Hazard and Kane arriving are remote.

Ronaldo does not want the players to share his status as club talisman.

And Don Balon claim that Real are now looking at signing Valencia starlet Goncalo Guedes.

The winger has blossomed at the Mestalla, with the 21-year-old currently on loan from Ligue 1 giants PSG.

But, with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, Angel Di Maria and Julian Draxler ahead of him in the pecking order, the Portugal international may not return to the Parc des Princes.

Speaking in November, Guedes admitted to uncertainty over his future.

“It is always good that top teams show an interest in my work although I do not know anything about my future,” Guedes said.

“I do not know what is going to happen [next season] but I would like to remain at Valencia.

“I am very happy here and I have been treated very well.”
