MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly looking to strike a deal for Paris Saint-Germain outcast Lucas Moura with Jose Mourinho desperate to get the winger on-board this month.
Moura fell out-of-favour at the Parc des Princes following the arrivals of compatriot Neymar and France star Kylian Mbappe last summer.
And he looks set to be one of several players the Ligue 1 giants cut loose this month as they attempt to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
Moura has spoken to Beijing Guoan over a potential move to the cash-rich Chinese Super League.
The latest reports suggest the Brazilian would sooner head for Old Trafford though, with Mourinho actively looking to secure his services.
The Sun claim United are hoping to sign Moura on loan until the end of the season.
And PSG are said to be willing to come to such an agreement on one condition.
PSG chiefs apparently want to guarantee United will pay £40m for Moura this summer.
This is the second time United have tried to sign the 25-year-old during his career.
The Red Devils were in for Moura before he joined PSG from Sao Paulo in 2012.
Moura is keen to link up with United this time around though having seen his PSG game time severely restricted.
The wideman has scored 44 goals in 212 appearances in France.
However, he’s yet to start a Ligue 1 game under Unai Emery this season.
