Afia Schwar takes a swipe at GBC over TV license court cancellation

Popular TV and radio personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa,popularly known has Afia Schwarzenegger, has viciously teased GBC over its decision to cancel plans to prosecute those who fail to pay their TV Licenses.

In a recent video shared on her Instagram page, Afia Schwarzenegger has targeted government’s TV license tax yet again and expressed that Ghanaians are not willing to pay the incoming TV license tax. The video shows Afia Schwarzenegger with a goat tied on a string, which is ceremoniously led out of her home, and hilariously calls the goat TV license.



The issue of government’s new TV license recently came into heavy criticism from the public when reports had it that government intended to set up a court especially designated to prosecute those to fail to pay their TV license.

Nevertheless, after an emergency meeting, government has recently revealed that it will cancel plans to prosecute TV license defaulters, something Afia Schwarzenegger’s video may be basing on.
