Lady reveals why her friend’s proposal was rejected

Yesterday, a video of a woman proposing to her supposed boyfriend of 7 years went viral on social media and it has sparked hot debate among many social media users due to the ‘unfortunate’ turn of events.

In the video that was spotted, a young lady was seen proposing marriage to her boyfriend in a mall to the admiration of many passersby and shoppers.

To the utter shock and dismay of the young lady doing the proposing and some of the people who had stopped to witness the romantic scene, the young man in question turned down the lady and eventually walked off with his friend.



This act left the lady dejected and embarrassed causing her to burst into uncontrollable tears. The lady was seen on her knees ‘pleading’ with the guy to say “yes” but the young man turned down the lady’s move.

The young lady was then seen running around the mall crying and complaining bitterly over the rejection.

It has however being revealed by a close friend of the lady that the proposal was turned down by the man because he was already married and had kept it a secret from the lady only to reveal it to her when she popped the question of marriage to him.

The friend of the lady took to her Facebook page to recount the incident and explained that the young lady got ‘jilted’ by her boyfriend of seven years because he was already married to another woman.

She added that the man did not tell her but only whispered it into her ears when she decided to surprise him with the proposal.
