RIO FERDINAND has hailed Manchester United for getting Jose Mourinho signed up to a new deal.
Mourinho penned a new contract at Manchester United yesterday extending his stay until 2020.

Mourinho’s mood has improved in recent weeks with the capture of Alexis Sanchez delighting the Portuguese.



And Ferdinand believes the statement from United is exactly what they need.

“Jose signing a new contract for @ManUtd = stability,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Just what we need after a few yrs of chopping and changing managers.”
