Kofi Adams is a serial liar – Chief Akwetiu Bayaga

A member of National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ayawaso Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Chief Akwetiu Bayaga has attacked the National Ogarniser of the party, Mr Kofi Adams claiming he has in the last couple of years gained notoriety in peddling falsehood.

According to him, Mr. Kofi Adams must learn to eschew politics of lies and live with the truth after engaging in such conduct against his political opponents within and outside the NDC.

“The lies of Kofi Adams only benefit NDC when we are in power. …he should learn to be truthful a bit”, Chief Akwetiu Bayaga admonished.

“We all known and have seen him as a serial liar who does not deserve to lead NDC as our National Organizer” he spoke on Top Story on Joy FM

Two members of the party have petitioned the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) to suspend their National Organiser, Kofi Adams, for misconduct vis-a-vis the NDC’s presidential race following what they claim is an open endorsement of former President John Dramani Mahama.

They have also accused him of leaking classified information of the party to the press which is being used against it when it is struggling to reorganize.

Chief Akwetiu Bayaga of the Akuafo Hall branch of the Ayawaso Wuogon Constituency and Nii Nortey Nortey of Korletey-Korle, PWD, said in a petition that they were “appalled” by attempts by Mr Adams to sow seeds of division within the NDC through his actions and utterances

In the petition, the two said: “One such act is the divulgence of confidential information to the media. On 23 January 2018, he disclosed to the general public via radio and Ghana web, information of a meeting by NEC and the Council of Elders with potential presidential aspirants.
