Chelsea transfer news: How Blues will line up after deadline day

CHELSEA have left their business late during the January transfer window, but how could the Blues line up after deadline day?
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was left bemoaning his lack of squad depth earlier this season, and the Italian must have been seething throughout January as the Blues struggled to strengthen their roster.

The arrival of Ross Barkley from Everton for £15million earlier this month will have done little to take the pressure off the Chelsea board, but a late flurry will leave Conte much happier.

Emerson Palmieri put pen to paper on a £17m move from Roma late last night, and the Blues have now reportedly swooped for Olivier Giroud with Michy Batshuayi heading to Borussia Dortmund.

With extra defensive cover and another potential attacking outlet, Chelsea could look pretty different when they next take to the pitch.
