Luis Enrique has been offered a two-and-a-half year deal to replace Antonio Conte as Chelsea manager, according to reports in Spain.
The former Barcelona boss has been out of work since leaving the Nou Camp last summer after a three-year stint in charge that saw him win two La Liga titles and a Champions League.
Conte is attempting to save his job after suffering a 4-1 defeat to Watford on Monday night, with Enrique a leading candidate to take over at Stamford Bridge.
The 47-year-old is negotiating with the champions, report Spanish newspaper Sport, and will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract once Conte is dismissed.
