Lord Kenya wants me to become a man of God but I’m not ready – Kwaw kese

Award winning hiplife artiste, Kwaw Kese originally known as Emmanuel Botchwey, has revealed on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM that, former hiplife artiste Lord Kenya who is now a reverend minister, has asked him to consider doing the work of God.

Speaking in exclusive interview with Sokoo Hemaa Kukua Wednesday, the ‘Abodam’ hitmaker said Lord Kenya who was his inspiration as upcoming artiste became his best friend and he [Kenya] visited him [Abodam] in prison.

‘’We became paddies. When I was in prison, Lord Kenya came there. Just that he wants me to become a man of God but I am not ready. I have not received the calling from God to do his work.’’

He was however quick to add that, I will not hesitate to do God’s work when he calls. ‘’I cannot disobey the voice of God when he calls,’’ he indicated.

In his view, 90 percent of pastors who attend bible school are not original and not being called by God.

‘’It should be a natural call. I would be extremely happy if God calls me to work for him. God is supreme and bigger than my music so when he calls, I will not hesitate to obey him,’’ he posited.

The Madtime CEO promised to maintain his ‘Abodam’ name when he becomes a pastor. He also mentioned Madtime International Church as the name for his church so he establish one.
