Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez is especially close to one player after Arsenal move

MANCHESTER UNITED star Alexis Sanchez has struck up a close bond with Jesse Lingard after his move from Arsenal last month, according to reports.
Manchester United signed Sanchez from Arsenal with the 29-year-old since enjoying a good start to life at Old Trafford.

The Chile international starred on his debut against Yeovil in the FA Cup, contributing two assists as the Red Devils ran out 4-0 winners.

And while Manchester United slipped to a 2-0 defeat to Tottenham in his second game, Sanchez’s goal against Huddersfield on Saturday helped Jose Mourinho’s side to another three points.

Given his preferred language is Spanish, you would expect the former Gunners ace to be particularly close to the likes of David De Gea, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera.

But the Manchester Evening News say Sanchez is really good friends with Lingard.
The England star has blossomed this season with his form part of the reason why Mourinho allowed Mkhitaryan to depart.

And the MEN say Sanchez has also struck up a good relationship with Lingard on the pitch.

Both players are expected to feature when the club face Newcastle at the weekend.

Lingard, meanwhile, has apologised after a member of his media team tweeted while the club were paying their respects to victims of the Munich Air disaster.
“A member of my media team inadvertently replied to a tweet this afternoon on my Twitter profile during the Munich memorial service at Old Trafford,” he said.

“I was unaware as I was attending the service at the time, and don’t condone the post or the timing in any way.

“The post has now been deleted, and I’d like to apologise for any upset caused.

“This is totally unacceptable and does not reflect my personality or view on this emotional day.”
