Liverpool news: Agent appears to confirm Emre Can has already signed for Juventus

ITALIAN agent Federico Pastorello has suggested Liverpool star Emre Can has already signed for Juventus.

The Germany international came close to joining the Italian side last month and reports in Italy claimed he had reached an agreement in principle to move to the Serie A outfit.

Can is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to sign a new deal with the Reds.

The midfielder has been in talks over a new contract but his reluctance to put pen to paper on better terms suggests he is looking for a fresh challenge next season.

And renowned agent Pastorello’s latest comments hint a deal has already been agreed.



“Emre Can is a huge coup, even more so because he’ll arrive on a free transfer. Marotta and Paratici have done very well,” he said.

“Juventus are a club that attract champions, and important signals are coming from the German.”

Last month Can admitted his own agent was taking care of his future and gave Liverpool fans some hope he is still considering extending his stay on Merseyside.

“My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer,” Can said.

“I haven’t signed anything (with Juventus) or anyone. I am talking with everyone.

“Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club.

“What can I say? My agent does the rest.

“I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team.”
