ROY KEANE has condemned the way the Chelsea players have acted under Antonio Conte this season.
With their Premier League defence collapsing spectacularly this season, Conte has come under increasing scrutiny.
Back-to-back defeats for Chelsea against Bournemouth and Watford raised speculation that Roman Abramovich could axe the Italian tactician.
Although the title is well beyond them with Manchester City 19 points clear at the top of the table, the Blues are still involved in the FA Cup and the Champions League.
However, as far as Europe is concerned, Conte’s men will have to find a way past Barcelona.
And Keane has noticed a disturbing trend and accused the players of ‘downing tools’.
“These Chelsea lads are so unprofessional,” Keane told ITV Sport when previewing the Blues’ Champions League tie against Barcelona.
“When they go and win the league and the last few years, they downed tools under different managers.
“It’s shocking behaviour.”
Chelsea take on Hull tomorrow night (8pm) in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
After that they host Barcelona in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Tuesday (7.45pm).
