Amissah-Arthur whips up enthusiasm for NDC re-registration exercise in Eastern Region

The former Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has toured some of NDC branches in the Eastern Region to monitor the ongoing reorganization and re-registration and reorganization process as well as whip up enthusiasm among party members.

He said the victory of the NDC in the 2020 elections was largely dependent on the success of the exercise, urging all to eschew division and embrace unity to guarantee absolute victory in the next elections.so the need to keep the enthusiasm alive.



The Visit by the former Vice President to the area was also to ascertain some of the challenges with regards to the National Democratic Congress Re- registration exercise and touch base with members and give hope amongst party members.

Mr Amissah Arthur used the visit to interact with some constituency members, executives, wards members and other members in Nsawawam / Adoagyeri, kwakyekrom, Amenase, Afranse L /A Primary branches all in the Eastern Region

Visiting some wards and branches to monitor and access for himself how the reorganization and registration exercise was going on, he said he was impressed.

He lauded their efforts, time and dedicated service to the party especially at the grassroots level and tasked them to continue to render dedicated and selfless services for the continuous development of the party in the area.

Mr Amissah-Arthur said the registration concept was an integral part of the party’s democracy through the extension to the peoples so that they would be recognized.

The National Democratic Congress reorganization and reregistration across the country became eminent after the Dr Kwesi Botwe report cited infiltration by nonmembers of the party hence recommended that the party restores the integrity of the biometric register.
