MANCHESTER UNITED players believe Jose Mourinho adopted the right tactics against Sevilla and are unconcerned by the 0-0 draw.
Manchester United struggled to break down their Spanish opponents on Wednesday offering little in attack.
Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku had very little service and midfielder Scott McTominay was the only United player to have a shot on target.
United came in for heavy criticism after the match with Ian Wright saying fans should be disgusted with the “sterile football” on show.
But Mourinho was adamant that he was happy with the result ahead of the second leg in two weeks.
And according to the Manchester Evening News, the United players are “content” and confident they will win at Old Trafford on March 13.
Speaking on ITV, United legend Roy Keane said there were more problems at the club than just Pogba.
He said: “Pogba is a really good player.
“He is under a lot of pressure at the moment, there is a lot of speculation about him, he was left out tonight, but you’d still have him in your starting XI.
“Off the field, he has a big personality with the social media, his haircuts, the cars he drives, he needs to bring that on the pitch.
“But United’s problems aren’t just with Pogba. Lukaku needs to do more, Sanchez has got to do better, they need to reinvest in some defenders.
“You can’t keep pointing the finger at Pogba, but the lad has got to do better.”
