Real Madrid star Marco Asensio tells Isco he is joining Chelsea after Deportivo snub

REAL MADRID star Marco Asensio has reportedly told Isco he will join Chelsea in the summer after being omitted from their squad to face Deportivo.
Real Madrid eased to victory against Deportivo today with Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale all getting on the scoresheet.

Asensio, however, was forced to watch from the sidelines after the Spain international was left out of the squad by manager Zinedine Zidane.

Chelsea have emerged as potential suitors for the forward, who could leave to secure game time elsewhere after an infuriating campaign at the Bernabeu.

And Spanish website Don Balon say that, in the aftermath of Zidane’s decision to omit him, Asensio has dropped a Chelsea bombshell on Isco.

Real Madrid are expected to pursue a deal for Eden Hazard in the summer.

The Belgium international has been earmarked as a priority target, particularly with Neymar likely to stay at PSG for at least another 12 months.
Chelsea, though, will not let their main man depart without a fight and their interest in Asensio is growing.

The 22-year-old recently impressed as Real came from behind to beat PSG 3-1 in the Champions League.

And Don Balon say Asensio has confided in Isco about his Stamford Bridge ambitions.

He has reportedly told Isco he is ready to join Chelsea if, as expected, Real make a move for Hazard.

And he reportedly wants Alvaro Morata’s help to settle into London.
ESPN pundit Alejandro Moreno, though, cannot see Real letting Asensio jump ship.

“I don’t think Real Madrid is in a position to allow a talent like Marco Asensio to go,” the Venezuelan said.

“I think he has been one of the players that has turned Real Madrid around over the last couple of weeks.

“It feels as though this is the sort of player that you can build around rather than just send them somewhere else.

“I think he stays at Real Madrid.”
