Neymar injury: Zinedine Zidane WANTS PSG star to play against Real Madrid

REAL MADRID boss Zinedine Zidane has reacted to Neymar’s recent injury.
The PSG winger appeared to roll his ankle during his side’s 3-0 win over Marseille on Sunday.

After getting his legs tangled with Bouna Sarr, Neymar was in visible distress and left the field on a stretcher.

PSG fans are waiting nervously to hear if their star man will be fit enough to take on Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie next week.

And reports today suggest the Brazilian could be sidelined for the tie.
But while Madrid fans will be celebrating the news, boss Zidane insisted he wants Neymar to be passed fit.

“I don’t like to see players getting hurt, I hope he can play next week,” he said ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Espanyol.

“I’d never wish that a player misses a game with an injury.”

Madrid are finally starting to put together a run of good results after their poor start to the campaign.
And Zidane is hopeful Los Blancos’ win streak can continue.

“Recent results? They are pleasing but they do not surprise me, our aim now is to continue our winning streak and maintain our level of performance,” he added.

Madrid travel to the Parc Des Princes on Tuesday March 6.
