Kumchacha is a fetish priest – Patapaa’s father jabs

Father of ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Opanyin Kwasi Amoah, has described the founder and leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Kumchacha, as a fetish priest and not a man of God.

Late last year, the Founder and Leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministries disclosed he had buried the song on the instruction of God.

He told Kofi Adoma on Kofi TV that he intentionally bought four of the CDs, prayed over them, anointed them with oil, dug a hole and buried them. The consequence he was certain, was the seeming reduction in the patronage of the song.

Aside the ‘spiritual’ attempt to get rid of the song, he is also reported to have expressed interest in heading to court to seek an injunction on the “One Corner” song because he believed it was destroying lives in the country.

But reacting to his claims on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Opanyin Kwasi Amoah said he believes prophet Kumchacha hates his son hence the reason he wants to drag his reputation through the mud.

He told Andy Dosty that, “He wants to disgrace him [Patapaa] but he cannot do that. If God blesses you, there is nothing a man can do…he is more than a pastor he is a fetish priest too…’, Patapaa’s dad maintained.

According to Patapaa’s father, he couldn’t fathom why the man of God will condemn the songs of his beloved song and even threaten to take him on to court for his ‘blameless’ ‘One Corner’ song.

“He should do what good pastors do. Don’t we have entertainment in Ghana? If someone makes people happy through a song, why do you condemn it?”, he queried.

He continued that, “he is not a correct pastor otherwise he would not sell one of his churches. If anything happens to Patapaa he will be blamed. I will deal with him accordingly’, he stressed.
