SERGIO RAMOS has reportedly told Real Madrid’s board that a dressing room war will start if Eden Hazard or Mohamed Salah moves to the Bernabeu.
The Spanish giants are in the midst of a terrible season by their standards and currently sit third in La Liga.
In a bid to ensure there isn’t a repeat of the 12-point deficit to Barcelona next season they’re set to splash out in the summer.
A whole host of star names have been tipped to join Real, includinhg Chelsea’s Hazard and Liverpool’s Salah.
But the latest reports from Spain suggest Ramos has told Real chiefs to forget about signing either of the duo if they want to keep their squad happy.
According to Don Balon, the Real captain has got wind of the club’s transfer plans and has been discussing them with team-mates.
And the impact Hazard or Salah’s arrival would have on Marco Asensio has apparently been a hot topic.
Asensio is desperate to nail down a starting spot at Real and feels he has earned the right to do so.
A deal for a player of Hazard or Salah’s calibre would almost certainly relegate him to a peripheral role though.
Don Balon claim Asensio has the support of the Real dressing room, who do not want a new signing to replace him.
Ramos has subsquently warned the board that there will be trouble afoot if Asensio is ignored.
