Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos soiled himself during win over Eibar

Zinedine Zidane has confirmed Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos soiled himself during their weekend win over Eibar.

Cristiano Ronaldo netted twice for Los Blancos to secure a 2-1 victory and three LaLiga points to add to their tally.

But it was the sudden disappearance of Ramos during the 73^rd minute that raised eyebrows and provoked laughter in Zidane’s post-match press conference.

“He s*** himself a little bit,” the French coach was reported as saying by AS.

“Ramos just went off to go to the toilet, then came back on and that’s all there is to it.”

The Spanish international also saw the funny side of the incident and referenced his mishap in an Instagram post following the triumph.

It read: “Nature calls. Out & back in. Reload. Team goal. Back home. Let’s keep it up. #HalaMadrid”

Of course we all remember Gary Lineker suffering a similar fate while on England duty.

The legendary striker is constantly reminded of that moment, which occurred at the World Cup in 1990.
