RONALD DE BOER has defended his brother Frank after his spat with Jose Mourinho.
The former Crystal Palace manager made the headlines earlier this week when he claimed Manchester United star Marcus Rashford would be better off working with a different coach.
Mourinho was clearly offended at De Boer’s punditry comments.
And the United boss took time out of press conference on Monday to lambast the Dutchman, calling him the “worst manager in Premier League history.”
But Ronald has defended his brother after the war of words.
“Managers have different philosophies when developing young talents,” he told Sky Sports.

“Frank respects Jose a lot and was simply pointing out that, if Rashford was playing for Ajax and had one or two bad games, he would still start the third game.
“However, he’s at Man United and after two bad games things are different and he’d be on the bench.”
De Boer’s tenure at Crystal Palace was statistically the worst in Premier League history.
The former Ajax boss lost all seven games during his reign, scoring no goals.
