Laurence Nana Asiamah Hanson (known in showbiz as Bulldog), has divulged his side of the chaos that ensued at the Champs Bar in Accra over the weekend.
In an interview on Accra-based Zylofon FM, Bulldog admitted that there exists some friction between Stonebwoy and the Nana Appiah Mensah -led imprint (though he wouldn’t go into detail), but indicated that he didn’t engage in any act of violence at the bar like is being widely-reported, but only went to the venue in the company of Zylofon Media’s transport manager to retrieve a Hyundai Sonata, as is company policy.
He fingered Sidi Mohammed, Stonebwoy’s manager, as the one who was being violent, banging his hand on a table, leading to broken bottles, also indicating that he left soon after, and was not witness to any reported attacks on Stonebwoy’s little brother, or firing of gunshots by Stonebwoy.
Artist & Repertoire manager at the Zylofon, Bulldog also revealed that he was rather assaulted by a member of Stonebwoy’s entourage, and received death threats by one “Chief” hours later, and has filed a complaint with the police since.
A clash was reported at the Champs Bar in Accra last Saturday, during a Kelvin Boy gig. Eyewitnesses narrate that Bulldog and his men to seize Stonebwoy’s Mercedes Benz when the singer’s younger brother went to get something from the vehicle.
The car key was reportedly snatched from him, together with a wallet containing about GHC 5000.
