Ebony’s response to her managers when they asked her about her 17 tattoos

Ebony's response to her managers when they asked her about her 17 tattoos

Latest information available to YEN.com.gh indicates that Ebony’s management, led by Bullet, had no knowledge about the meaning and reasons for Ebony’s many tattoos.

Contrary to popular opinions that she had acquired those tattoos with the knowledge or influence of her managers all in the name of branding, the managers have denied knowing this.

Bullet and Allen Kofi Anti, manager and deputy manager of Ruff Town Records respectively, have disclosed in a latest interview that they themselves never understood or knew the meaning of many of Ebony’s tattoos.

“..As for the tattoos, we don’t even know what to say about them. She was secretive about it and never wanted to tell us their meanings when we asked her.

All she said was they are personal,” Bullet said in an interview on GHONE TV. He added that Ebony always remained tight-lipped about where, when and how she got those tattoos and remembers one answer she gave was “I got it from Macedonia.”

Bullet’s revelation about Ebony’s tattoos is obviously going to surprise many because those tattoos have been a topical issue when she was alive.

Ebony, born Pricilla Opoku-Kwarteng, first made her tattoos public in an interview with Abeiku Santana on his “Atuu” entertainment show in 2017.

According to her, she had 17 tattoos with the biggest one being the “star of David and an ocean” under her breasts.

She went on to explain that those at the other parts of her body including her arm and back had her local name “Ohemaa” and the names of her sister.

She also disclosed that she actually had some of the tattoos at some private parts of her body, including nine body piercings.

Many wondered why such a young girl of twenty years would have such a number of paintings on her body and she has consequently tagged a bad girl, just as she referred to herself – “Original 90sBadGurl.”

She met her untimely death last week Thursday on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway on her way back to Accra with three others.

Ebony died together with her bodyguard Lance Coporal Vondee Francis Atsu, and her childhood friend, Franklina Nkansah Kuri.

The driver who survived the crash, is responding to treatment at the Bechem Government Hospital in the Brong Ahafo Region.

Her one week observance has been slated for Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Accra.
