Death inspired me to write ‘Onipa Hia Mmoa’ – Minister OJ

Inspirational Ghanaian gospel singer, Minister OJ has said that his father’s death inspired him to write his famous song “Onipa Hia Mmoa”.

Narrating his story, the “Maye Se Mo Pen” music fame said his father always talked about driving his own car before he departs from this life …… adding that unfortunately his dad died the very day he bought him a new car as a surprise gift.

However, the music icon pleaded with Ghanaian to change their long time attitude where they wait till someone dies before they try to be generous.

The music writer was speaking in an interview on Light TV.

“Death inspired me to write “Onipa Hia Mmoa” song I remember my father always wanted to drive a car and the day I bought one for him that was the day he died”

“ And I remember I told him please get up and just hold the car keys, but everything that I said at that time did not matter because he was dead and nothing can bring him back” he said
