Don’t marry a poor man – Prophet Badu Kobi advices women

Founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi is advising women to avoid marrying poor men.

According to him, women who marry poor men do so out of ignorance.

In an interview with host of the Sonto Show, Akua Sonto, Prophet Badu Kobi said men are supposed to be the head of the family and as the head, they must provide for the family.

“Every man is the head of the family and as a head; you must provide everything for the family”

He further added that a man must not engage in any sort of relationship especially with marriage if he is not financially sound.

“If a man is not financially sound, then he must not be in a relationship at the first place. Women are precious and must be kept as such”, he added.

He noted that the increased rate of divorce in Ghana and beyond is because women make the wrong choices at most times.

“How can you marry a guy who can’t feed you three times a day”? Prophet Badu quizzed.

He challenged women to be a servant and not slave.

“Women are there to serve and not otherwise, so I urge every woman to be a servant and not a slave”

He noted that marriage is a companionship and an institution of understanding, so if there is no understanding, then the marriage won’t work.

“Marriage is an institution and it is about understanding each other, so if there is no understanding between the two, then the marriage won’t work”.
He furthered that, women who respect themselves always earn the respect of men as well.

He however cautioned wives to be very submissive to their husbands for fruitful and lasting marriage.




“Wives must be very submissive to their husbands if they want a fruitful and lasting marriage because husbands are the head of the family”.

The Seer advised women to be very honest to their men and come clear when it comes to sex since it plays a pivotal role in every relationship.

“Sex is very important, thus every woman must be honest and clear with her man, and you should tell him whether you are big or small because sex plays a high pivotal role in every relationship”

He however advised men to be financially sound before going in for someone’s daughter to marry.
