The Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu in the Northern Region and minority’s spokesperson on communications, Hon. A.B.A Fuseini has taunted the NPP for running a ‘Donkomi’ administration on Ghanaians.
His comments come in response to criticisms by the information minister, Mustapha Hamid to the effect the minority MPs in Parliament perpetuated the execution of machinations which led to the expose’ of the said leaked thesis into the public domain, which suggests a far-reaching plans by the government of Ghana and the US on common grounds to established a military base in the country.
Whiles deciphering and responding to issues raised by the information minister Hon. Mustafa Abdul Hamid on class FM’s twilight news bulletin at 5 pm on the notion that the minority caucus in parliament should take the blame for the current brouhaha accompanied by the said military establishment on the Ghanaian soil.
Hon. Fuseini catalogued a barrage of ineptitudes and chides the Akufo-Addo administration for engaging in ‘Donkomi’ sales in relation to the profound agreement between Ghana and US to established a military base, and taunts the architects behind the proposal to build such a central intelligence fulcrum in the country as clueless and lacks intellectual acumen and sophistication on issues of national and mutual concern.
Meanwhile, the Information Minister Mustapha Hamid, has rebuked the NDC members of Parliament’s stands on issue through a Press Briefing in Accra on Wednesday. He decried with displeasure that the minority lawmakers are only engaging in acts to undermine the work of Parliament since the matter gained media publications.
He further schooled the NDC to adhere to tenets in being responsible opposition and stressed that; it would be in their interest to emulate the best practices showed by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) whiles they were in opposition over a year ago.
Debunking and demystifying the assertions made by the minister of information, the Sagnarigu mp, objected to claims made by the minister and trolled him that, the entire process which was initiated and shredded in secrecy to established such a military wing in Ghana smacked of bad – faith and called on Ghanaians to audit the government for what they are.
Subsequently, he ridiculed the defense minister the Hon. Dominic Nitiwul for engaging in parroting speaking -spree. Who according to Hon. A.B.A. is noted for submitting unsubstantiated allegations, as well as channelling out impish and vile comments aimed at betraying his dept in knowledge on security matters.
Hon. Fuseini bemoaned that such nebulous tendencies would not be countenance by the minority, if the NPP continues to exhibit such needles posturing and resented that, the minority isn’t whipping up sentiments and disaffection against the government through pacing development in the public domain in regard to the situation at hand. He similarly denied any allegations by the majority members of Parliament, and appointees of government on the premise that, the minority were the ones who released the said classified memo to the press, which they remarked is meant to foment abating fear and panic in the country.
