NPP will win 96% valid votes in Ashanti Region in 2020 – Wontumi

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, has said that the party will win 96% of valid votes cast from the Ashanti Region in the 2020 elections.

The party, he said, will also capture all the 47 Parliamentary Seats for the NPP in Ashanti Region.

“My aim as a chairman of the NPP in the Ashanti is to win 96 percent of votes and win all the parliamentary seat. What I need as a chairman is result and so I’m not even bothered about anyone trying hard and wasting time to contest me.




“I know even the NDC members will vote for me because they know what I am capable of doing”, he bragged.

Chairman Wontumi promised to unite the rank and file of the party, especially at the grassroots level in the region – which is the party’s strong fortress – so that victory 2020 would be a done deal for the NPP.

Chairman wontumi played a pivotal role in the party’s victory at the 2016 elections.

The party in 2016 won 44 out of the 47 seats in the Ashanti region.
