V/R: $2.4m Youth Centre coming

The Minister of Youth and Sports, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, on Wednesday, 21 March 2018, cut sod for the commencement of work on a 10,000-seater multi-purpose Youth Centre at Nuwunu, Ho, in the Volta Region.

The $2.4million project is expected to be completed in 10 months.



The facility includes a FIFA-standard pitch with tartan tracks and other sports facilities as well as an ICT Counselling and Entrepreneurial Development Centre.

According to the Information Ministry, the facility is being constructed in all 10 regions of the country.
