EDEN HAZARD has sent a message to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
Hazard has previously spoken out against Conte’s tactics, voicing his frustration after the defeat to Manchester City earlier this season.
And he’s struggled when moved into a lone forward position for the big games – being isolated up top alone.
He played the first leg of the Champions League second round with Barcelona as a false nine.
Belgium boss Roberto Martinez insisted he was not striker last week, saying he would only play in his attacking midfield role for the national team.
But Hazard has told Chelsea boss Conte he will play wherever he is needed – even at left-back if he has to.
“I just want to be on the pitch,” Hazard told Sky Sports News.
“Number 9, 10, I can play left-back if the manager wants, no problem. I just want to be on the pitch and try to give everything like I do every time.”
And Hazard, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, insists he is happy at Stamford Bridge.
“I’m happy with Chelsea,” he added. “I am just thinking about the end of the season and the World Cup. I have got two years left on my contract so I am just happy.”
And the 27-year-old is expected to be the leader of the Belgium side this summer with many tipping them as potential winners.
“Four years ago was the first World Cup for almost all of the players in the national team,” he said.
“Now we have the experience four years later so we know what to do to be ready.
“We have one target which is to go to the final and then we will see what happens.”
