LIVESTREAMING: Koku Anyidoho arrested over coup comment

Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Koku Anyidoho has been picked up by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department at the International Press Centre

Koku Anyidoho in a radio interview Tuesday morning was heard predicting that President Akufo-Addo would be overthrown just like his father and some other former heads of state were.



Officers from the CID headquarters stormed the Press Centre when a group Mr Anyidoho belonged to, Progressive Forces, were having a press conference to react to the approval of the military agreement between Ghana and the US.

After his party dissociated itself from the comment, Koku Anyidoho came out to say he stands by his words
