Man Utd shock: PSG produce tactic for Jose Mourinho deal with Arsenal and Chelsea impacted

PSG are reportedly hopeful of appointing Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho as Unai Emery’s replacement – but Chelsea and Arsenal may be impacted too.
PSG want Manchester United manager Mourinho to take over at the Parc des Princes.

The Ligue 1 giants have spent the last two seasons under Emery’s rule but the Spaniard is primed to be axed in the summer.

The former Sevilla boss was fortunate to remain in the job last season after his failure to deliver Ligue 1 and Champions League glory.

And, though they are set to regain the title, their failure to make the quarter-finals of the Champions League is set to be Emery’s achilles heel.

And Spanish website Mi Otra Liga say PSG want Mourinho to leave his post as Manchester United manager at the end of the season.
The 54-year-old signed a contract extension back in January.

He has also, publicly at least, expressed a desire to stick it out and battle with Manchester City for the Premier League title next season.

His position at United, though, is beginning to weaken.

Club chiefs were furious after United’s failure to make the Champions League quarter-finals and his treatment of Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba is causing upset behind closed doors.

PSG supposedly feel that, by offering Mourinho a huge wage, they can entice the 54-year-old to Paris.
Yet Mi Otra Liga say Chelsea and Arsenal may be impacted.

Should Mourinho refuse to leave, then PSG may supposedly try for Antonio Conte or Arsene Wenger.

Express Sport understands Chelsea will axe Conte with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique lined up as his replacement.

Wenger, meanwhile, may finally leave his post as Arsenal manager – particularly if they fail to win the Europa League.
