REAL MADRID’S move for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah hinges on the future of Zinedine Zidane, according to reports.
Real Madrid are supposedly keen to prise Salah away from Liverpool when the transfer window reopens.

The Egypt international has enjoyed a stunning season in the Premier League, hitting 36 goals across all competitions.

Real Madrid reportedly want the Liverpool star as a replacement for Gareth Bale, who may be shown the door having made just 19 starts all season.




Yet Spanish outlet Diario Gol say the 25-year-old will only move to La Liga if Zinedine Zidane stays in the job.

Salah is not the only player on Real’s transfer wishlist.
But Diario Gol suggest any move for any of the players will hinge on who is in charge next season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been tipped to move in the past.

But the German is unlikely to turn his back on the Merseyside giants should Real come calling.

Other people in the frame to take over include Joachim Low and Carlo Ancelotti.
However, Zidane can save his job by steering the club to Champions League glory again.

And, should he stay in charge, then Liverpool may face a fight to keep Salah out of the La Liga giants’ clutches.

Other reports have claimed the Reds value their No 11 at a huge £175million.

And that means Madrid would have to make him the second most-expensive player in history to get a deal done.
