Nana Opoku Kwarteng, father of the late Ghanaian musician, Ebony, has responded to rumours of a possible reunion with her mother, Beatrice Oppong.
In an interview with KOFI TV, and captured by Ghanacelebrities.com, he stated that at the moment, they are separated and therefore no longer married.
However, only time would tell if he would reunite with his former wife, he added.
Ebony’s mother is reported to have raised alarm when rumours of a reunion with her former husband began to circulate on some media platforms.
It was alleged that the demise of their daughter would help restore their marriage. Beatrice Oppong however revealed that she never made such a statement, but was rather pleaded with to consider going back to Nana Opoku Kwarteng.
Ebony lost her life on February 8, 2018, when she was involved in an accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani road. Two others, Franky Kuri, her childhood friend and Francis Vondee, a military man, also lost their lives.
Ebony was buried on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
