“In my residence at Kumasi I have been hearing a lot of songs being played which are Davido’s own. I was thinking Davido was a new artist who resides in Ghana because of the rate at which his songs were being played over and over again just to realise he is a Nigerian art. So then how could we play his songs so massively in Ghana like that?” He queried.

He went on further to urge DJ’s and music promoters to play more of the highlife songs on air for the youth to appreciate and love their own.

“If we could promote other people’s songs in Ghana, then why can’t we do same and even more for our very own. Its time we sit up and love our very own because if we don’t no one will do it for us”. He told Kojo Preko Dankwa.
