The bodies of three children aged between four and seven, were found in an abandoned vehicle on Monday, 16 April 2018 after they were reported missing on Sunday.
The three children went missing hours after Sunday church service at Elmina in the Central Region.
The parents of the three, who could not find them after hours of searching, lodged a complaint at the Elmina Police Station.
At 7am on Monday, a lady found the bodies of the children in her parked car close to Hollywood Preparatory School.
She reported the case to the police. After examination, some body parts including teeth, a tongue and private parts were found to have been removed.
The bodies have been deposited at the Cape Coast Hospital morgue as the police investigates the matter.
