Kofi Kinaata celebrates birthday with inmates of Sekondi Central Prison

Martin King Arthur, known in music circles as Kofi Kinaata, celebrated his birthday with inmates of the Sekondi Central Prison on Monday, 16th April, 2018.



Even though his birthday fell on 15th April, he could not celebrate it with the prisoners on that day because it was Sunday and would not be allowed to visit the inmates.

Kofi Kinaata’s father Pastor Charles King Arthur, who also attended the party, delivered a word of motivation to the Prison Community.

About 680 inmates of the Sekondi Central Prisons, comprising 658 males and 22 females, entertained with food, drinks and performance from Kofi Kinaata.

“We are with you in all ways. We care about you and you’re in our prayers,” Kinaata told the prisoners.
