WAFA assistant coach Ibrahim Moro says their recent slump in form is as a result of the mass player exodus from the club.
WAFA have been struggling in the ongoing Ghana Premier League- they have failed to win a game in their last five games.
This for their assistant coach Ibrahim Moro is as a result of the exodus of players from the team.
“Most of our key players traveled outside and that is affecting us greatly. Some also left to join other clubs in the local league and honestly, those were matured players,” Tanko said.
Eight regular players including goalkeeper Razak Abalora, Richmond Lamptey, Komlan Abegniedan, Caleb Amankwah, Gideon Waja and Majeed Ashmeru all left the club after the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.
