Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp makes big transfer claim after reaching Champions League final

LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted the Reds are now an attractive proposition for potential transfer targets.
Liverpool reached the Champions League final in midweek courtesy of a 2-2 draw against Roma.

The Reds can cap off a stunning season under Klopp by winning Europe’s biggest club trophy for the first time since 2007.

Despite Liverpool still needing to win, attentions are already beginning to turn towards the summer.

Klopp has been tipped to sign a new goalkeeper with Alisson Becker and Jack Butland both linked.

Also on their radar is another attacker, with Paulo Dybala and Thomas Lemar in their sights.
And, speaking ahead of their Premier League showdown with Chelsea, Klopp said Liverpool are now an attractive proposition.

“Whatever you can do to bring yourself in a better position to get these players, you do,” he said.

“At the moment we are quite attractive, we pay good wages, we can go for good players, but other clubs are too.

“If you are in Champions League, it is easier to attract specific players.”

Despite Liverpool courting goalkeepers, current No 1 Loris Karius has been in fine form.
And Klopp was full of praise for the German for coming good.

“I am really happy with his progress and there is a lot more to come I’m sure,” he said.

“He’s been a big part in us being more stable.

“Both Loris and Simon Mignolet are in a good shape, physical and mental.”
