Rapper Sarkodie who has been active in the music game since 2007 has released several rap songs and his voice can also be heard on many others owned by his colleagues.
The rap prowess of the BET award-winner can never be underestimated judging from the countless tunes he has released in the past years.
Sarkodie at the recently held listening of singer Akwaboah’s new album, ‘Matters Of The Heart’ made a statement that surprised many who were invited to the event.
According to the rap artiste real name Michael Owusu Addo, he has reached a point in his rap career where he can now predict the next lines of fellow rappers when listening to their songs for the first time.
Explaining himself after the crowd exhibited their disbelief to his words, the ‘Adonai’ hitmaker put into words that “I deal a lot with rhyming so if you say aboa, I expect you to follow it with akoa“.
Despite his ability to predict the lines succeeding a fellow rapper’s verse, Sarkodie said his label mate, Strongman “always trick me. He always says something that I don’t think about and that is how I tip a good rapper.”
“I have to believe in what I attach myself with and the same thing happens to Strongman. It’s been a while since I heard somebdy really rap good. I rap so if I listen on radio and you say things that I can say.. I’ve rapped to a point that when you are rapping, I can predict your next line before you say it and I’ll be correct.. Oh it is true.” Sarkodie bragged to the audience.
