Adom FM ‘forcefully’ removes Captain Smart off air; Kofi Adoma takes over

There was drama on Thursday morning in the studios of Adom FM in Accra when their interdicted journalist Captain Smart attempted, and succeeded in signing into a morning program to run the show in defiance of his interdiction the previous day.

Listeners of Adom FM on Thursday morning woke up to news of Captain Smart’s interdiction but were hit by confusion when they heard him on air that morning.

This was apparently on the blind side of the station’s management, who quickly told him to leave and ordered his colleague Kofi Adoma to take over and steer the program.

Captain Smart, we learnt, had hoped to use the opportunity to do some damage control over his interdiction, but failed.

He has since shared some videos and audios on facebook trying to imply to his followers that it was the content of the audios and videos which caused his interdiction, even though it is obvious the voice in the audio and video is not his.

He wrote on his Facebook wall:

“If it’s not jealous, envy, stupidity and witchcraft why would someone add my pictures to this audio and say that’s my voice. You and no one can ever bring me down. No one touches the tail of a lion a go free. PLEASE THIS IS NOT MY VOICE WAI. It takes useless people to circulate useless things. God will punish who ever did this.”

Captain Smart has since been attempting to court public sympathy.
