Manchester United fans have already waved goodbye to Anthony Martial after the French winger was left out of the squad to face Watford.

Jose Mourinho confirmed seven players in his starting line-up earlier this week, with Martial set to feature after missing out against West Ham.

However, the 22-year-old has been left out of the Manchester United squad this afternoon – prompting fans to speculate he could be on his way out of the club.

The winger was spotted at Old Trafford at around midday but reportedly drove off before the rest of the team arrived.

No reason has been given behind Martial’s absence, but supporters are already speculating that could be the last they see of the Frenchman.

Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez believes he is moving to Manchester United, according to stunning reports in Spain.

News outlet Diario Gol are reporting today that Vazquez made a dressing room announcement to send shockwaves through the Bernabeu.

It’s claimed he told team-mates ‘I’m going to United’ – a revelation that left Cristiano Ronaldo and co stunned.

Diario Gol say Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the Spaniard and he knows he can get him by offering him first-team football.

Part of the lure for Mourinho, Diario Gol say, is the fact he works as hard in defence as he does in attack. It’s claimed this is a key reason why the United boss wants him.

Liverpool are said to be interested too with Jurgen Klopp monitoring the wideman as a possible summer addition.

Manchester United will reportedly sign Juventus star Alex Sandro after the FA Cup final.

Juventus are demanding around £50m for the left-back, matching the fee Manchester City paid for Benjamin Mendy before they steamrolled their way to the Premier League title this season.

But United are set to meet the demands in the coming weeks, according to the Sunday Times.

The publication reports Juventus chiefs expect the transfer to be completed as soon as both sides have completed their domestic campaigns.

The Sunday Times report the 27-year-old asked Juventus bosses to allow him an exit this summer.

Sandro’s arrival is likely to spell the end for United left-back Luke Shaw.

Manchester United are hopeful of signing Neymar this summer because of the Paris Saint-Germain star’s father.

Neymar joined PSG last year from Barcelona in a world record deal which stunned football but the Brazilian has cut a frustrated figure as he struggled to adapt to life in France.

And the Daily Mirror have sensationally claimed Manchester United have told Neymar’s representatives that they want to challenge Real Madrid for his signature.

The report says United are willing to pay PSG £200m and offer £30m-a-year in wages.

It is said that the optimism at Old Trafford over a deal is due to the fact Neymar’s father Neymar Santos senior is a United fan and has a “working relationship” with the club.
