A/R: 12 Killed On ‘Ebony’s’ Road

At least 12 people have been confirmed dead in an accident at Akwatiakrom on the Kumasi-Sunyani highway in the Ashanti region.

The midnight incident happened few kilometers from the spot where dancehall artist Ebony lost her life.




The accident occurred between a ford minibus registered AS 7257-15 and a Benz cargo truck with registration number GR 2624-14 heading to Dormaa Ahenkro from Kumasi.
The two vehicles had a head-on collision leading to the death of the passengers mostly in the ford vehicle. The driver of the ford also died in the crash.

Police in the Ashanti region has confirmed the incident.
