MANCHESTER UNITED are close to tying up deals for Fred and Alex Sandro while talks have begun over signing Marco Verratti.
That’s according to former agent Vincent Rodriguez, who says United are also moving closer to getting Diego Dalot on-board.

Jose Mourinho is eager to bolster his squad this summer to ensure they can challenge champions Manchester City next season.

Shakhtar Donetsk ace Fred has emerged as one of the Manchester United boss’ key targets, with strengthening in midfield a top priority.
Sandro and Dalot have likewise been lined up for moves to United as Mourinho looks to overhaul his defensive options.

Rodriguez, who used to work for Jorge Mendes’ GestiFute agency and now focuses on property, has lifted the lid on four deals that are in the works.

And he’s revealed Mino Raiola, who represents Paul Pogba, could help United sign another top midfielder this summer.

“Manchester United are deep in negotiations and at an advanced stages for Fred, Alex Sandro and Diogo Dalot & conversation with Raiola have begun regarding Verratti,” he wrote on Twitter.

Fred is currently in the north west having played in Brazil’s 2-0 friendly win over Croatia on Sunday.

Speaking after the showdown at Anfield, the 25-year-old revealed he is unsure as to where he’s heading.

“I’m going to talk to the people, meet my friends,” he said. “I still do not know where I’m going. I’ll still to talk to my agents to find out the reality of it.

“I want to focus only on the national team. It’s a unique time, the World Cup.

“We have to try to forget things from outside.”

However, Express Sport understands Fred will today undergo a medical at United’s Carrington training ground.
